ABN AMRO Charity Account

for the King Baudouin Foundation

ABN AMRO has had a Charity Account for the King Baudouin Foundation since 2024. The account is used in support of specific projects in consultation with an expert at the King Baudouin Foundation.

These themes of these projects are close to ABN AMRO's heart, such as:

  • Health and well-being for all
  • Equal opportunities for all (specifically in education, work, sport and social settings)
  • The environment and climate action
  • Reducing poverty

River Clean Up

One example is our support of River Cleanup this year. The mission of the global River Cleanup network is to clean up rivers by educating people, preventing pollution and transforming organisations.

Every day, 10 million kilograms of plastic waste ends up in our rivers and the environment. This is harmful to marine life, disrupts ecosystems and pollutes the global water cycle.

Make a donation

You can also use this charity account to make a donation. Such contributions are anonymous (unless you state otherwise) and there is no minimum contribution (as there is for private registered funds for the King Baudouin Foundation). If your donation qualifies for personal income tax or corporation tax deduction, the King Baudouin Foundation will send you a tax certificate. If you want to support a specific project, we can set this up for you in consultation with the King Baudouin Foundation and the charity itself. For more information, contact your Private Banker or visit the King Baudouin Foundation donations page.
