Jennifer Anne Paffen joined the investment strategy team at Bethmann Bank AG/ABN AMRO as a portfolio manager in 2020. For German discretionary portfolio management (DPM) clients, Jennifer is responsible for managing different sustainable equity strategies with a focus on ESG and SDG-aligned impact. She is also part of the global equity team within the global investment center at ABN AMRO.
Prior to joining Bethmann Bank AG, Jennifer has been involved in portfolio management as a sustainability analyst at a large German asset management firm. Back then, she was leading the development of a proprietary ESG portfolio management tool. She further worked on quantitative and qualitative sustainability assessments, did thematic research, and engaged with company management of portfolio holdings on ESG issues.
Jennifer studied various subjects at Goethe University, Frankfurt, and at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She holds Master’s degrees in Economics, in Psychology, and in Philosophy.
She is further a CFA charterholder. She was born in Mannheim, Germany, in 1991 and now lives with her family in Frankfurt.
